It was while I was living in NY when I designed and created my first handbag. I carried it all summer long and loved the attention I gained from it. The handbag became so popular among friends that I started making handbags for them. As I approached the next summer, I found myself working full time in my career as a media strategist in the day and sewing handbags at night. The demand for handbags for friends and for birthday gifts and bridesmaids gifts became so hot that it made me realize that other women have as much of a passion for these creations as I do.
